Curb Appeal…some cost effective and easy ways to spruce up the outside of your home
First impressions are often lasting impressions. So when selling your home, make sure that the outside represents what is on the inside. What does the color of your door say about you? Here are some easy and inexpensive ways to update your outdoors….
Spruce up the front door with a new coat of paint or if you are feeling bold change the color to one that pops, like red. Wreaths are a fun way to add to the front door in a not so permanent way. You can replace the hardware on the front door or polish it to make it shine. Potential buyers will be spending some time checking out things while their real estate agent is getting the door open.
Another easy and inexpensive curb appeal trick is updating the mailbox. You can replace the box or just paint the post a crisp white. Put new numbers on the box or plant some flowers around the bottom.
If you have some time and few dollars to invest, think about updating the garden. Window boxes are charming and easy to install. Looks great from the curb too. Colorful containers can give a great pop of needed color. You can find these on sale at places like TJ MAXX, Homegoods or most home improvement stores. Lowes and Home Depot usually have a clearance section full of plants that just need a little extra water.

To Buy or Not to BuyI would say as a realtor, the question I am asked
"John is more than a real estate agent - he is an absolutely crucial partner in the search for a new home. He knows the local markets and is an incredible asset to have on your side. I was looking for my first home and John was a wonderful guide throughout the process. I had specific requirements and he found wonderful properties, scheduled viewings, and made himself available whenever it was convenient for me. He went above and beyond during the buying process and made an otherwise stressful time very comfortable. I cannot recommend John highly enough.
